Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health will have all current shots for his/her age and deworming upon pickup. We take pride in our breeding and your puppy will arrive/pickup in the absolute best condition.
In the rare case your puppy obtains a life-threatening illness, prior to six months of age, you are to notify Stonecut immediately and provide written documentation of such said illness by a licensed vet. We also reserve the right to examine the puppy with our own vet and base the said illness off our vets diagnosis. If the illness is valid, you would be provided a puppy of the same gender and equal value, no refunds. If an illness occurs due to lack of care from the buyer ( lack of shots, deworming, etc.), Stonecut will not be responsible.
Deposits placed on puppies are non-refundable unless complications happen during delivery and the puppy cannot be delivered. Deposits can be applied to a different breeding if desired sex was not produced or there is an inefficient amount of puppies to cover your pick.
The use of our studs is subject to evaluation of your female. Stud fees are also non-refundable. If we stud out our males to your female and the breeding does not take you are guaranteed another stud service of equal value. Stud fees can be transferred to the purchase of a puppy. Stonecut reserves the right to have your female examined, by our licensed vet, in the event the breeding did not take. Also, a Brucellosis test is required at your expense which normally costs $50-$70. Breeding is a specific science, sometimes a sire and dam will mate with no complications. Other times, tests and procedures are required to optimize chances for a succesful litter. I always use progesterone testing on my females to pinpoint where they are in their cycles, this costs 150.00 initially and 78.00 for any additional tests. Also, I've had to resort to A.I. ( artificial insimination ) when two dogs are not successfully mating ( each A.I. cost 130.00), normally two are needed. The reason I discuss these scenarios is that I want you to have a successful litter, just as if it were my own. If the said tests and procedures were required, all costs are to be covered by the owner that the stud services are being provided to.
Blue pitbulls are prone to certain types of skin conditions, mainly allergies and certain types of dermatitis, this is just the nature of the beast. I’ve seen this myself and this is easily treated with certain aloe vera cream and medicated shampoo ( both of which are extremely inexpensive $20-$30). I mention this because I saw this once and wouldn’t want any of my clients to be caught by surprise. Stonecut will not be held responsible for any skin conditions, as they are easily treated.
No dogs will be sold for illegal purposes, I.e. fighting. Stonecut will require that any buyer of our puppies provide us with pictures periodically.
